On June 22, members of Greater Victoria's police services and the Sikh and Hindu communities took part in a community engagement event. The event was co-organized by the Greater Victoria Police Diversity Advisory Committee (GVPDAC) and the Khalsa Diwan Society. Members from the Sikh and Hindu communities joined in dialogue with police from Oak Bay, Saanich, Central Saanich and Victoria Police and the RCMP. Participants engaged in discussions about how to improve relationships and understanding between police and our diverse communities.
